Caruaru Furniture By Marcelo Rosenbaum
I am currently loving the furniture line designer Marcelo Rosenbaum recently developed for São Paulo’s top design store Micasa. Inspired by the Caruaru street fair in Pernambuco, one of the largest street fairs in the world, the line features eighteen different pieces made of pine, ranging from tables and chairs to storage units and floor lamps, all in the colors of local fruit and the landscape of the northeast of Brazil.
The line has been available since mid-October but unfortunately I haven’t found the time yet to stop by the store and check it out in person. For pictures of all the pieces on display at Micasa, click here.
The complete Caruaru catalog is available online at Rosenbaum’s blog.
